Christian Aid January update

The decorations on a tree in St Andrews on behalf of Christian Aid drew attention to the wastage of food over the Christmas period. There was the opportunity to donate. £25 was collected. The government will match fund and so £50 will go towards Christian Aid funds. Christian Aid helps enterprises suggested by local people so families in Burkina Faso in West Africa are being helped to grow more food to eat. Christian Aid also helps in crises such as the Rohinga Crisis in Myanmar/Bangladesh. 4000 families have been provided with hygiene kits and 10,000 with shelter kits.
